The Shop is located in the historic Strong house off of Main Street in Brewerton NY. Dr. Frank Strong was a general practitioner and had his practice in the house. Many "locals" still remember the waiting & examining room and where the pull-out is for getting shots, setting broken bones etc. There was a summer kitchen where Grace, Frank's second wife, prepared food for grand summer parties. She loved to cook and she also had a reputation for pampering her skin. One of their sons used the barn to do his artwork, mostly painting and ceramics from what we have been told. Frank & his family lived in the house until the 1940's. The family owned the house untl 1961 and some say they have felt the spirt of Grace's presence in the house.

The Turnbull family owned the house until 1989 when it was sold to a developer. It has been a commercial property since then. My husband Pete and I purchased the property in 2004 and have been renovating it since then! I have always wanted to open a shop like this and feel this house is a perfect fit for the atmosphere we want to create.
